Sitting here doing laundry and started thinking about what television series had/has the best theme song. I have two and I can't decide.
Bonanza and NCIS (Original series)
Anyone else?
As a kid, I loved the theme music from Mission Impossible and SWAT. (I know... I am dating myself). Current tv shows... Deadliest Catch and CSI.
Theme from Human Target. Because it reminded me of Surrender from Third Day. A close second is Sarah Palin’s Alaska, because they actually used Third Day in Follow Me There. Brilliant.
Hawaii Five-Oh.
Neat song!
Doesn’t it just make you BAD!! LOL!!
Seriously, I could listen to that one over and over again and not get sick of it.
the rebel with johnny yuma
LOL! Good one!
The Islanders - Adventures In Paradise (1960 theme music from the Gardner McKay hit TV series)

(This is the New Series Intro, which I like better than the original!)
Argh! I was really hoping mo one would mention that horrible theme song.
Try to get THIS one out of your head...
They’re creepy and they’re kooky
Mysterious and spooky
They’re all together ooky
The Adams Fa-mi-ly
Haha!
Secret Agent Man (Johnny Rivers)
Barney Miller and Taxi.
I have two, different genres...
Mr. Lucky and The Twilight Zone...
Peter Gunn
Revenge...
A horse is a horse of course of course
But no one can talk to a horse of course
That is of course unless the horse
Is the famous Mr. Ed
Go right to the source and ask the horse
He’ll give you the answer that you’ll endorse
He’s always on a steady course
Talk to Mr. Ed
People yakety yak a streak and waste your time of day
But Mr. Ed will never speak
Unless he has something to say
A horse is a horse, of course of course,
And this one will talk ‘til his voice is hoarse.
You never heard of a talking horse?
Well, listen to this...
I am Mr. Ed
The Man from U.N.C.L.E
Gilligan’s Island
