I, myself, am convinced Obama is a shoo-in in 2012. He has successfully completed the transition of this nation from capitalist to Socialist. More than half our population get some kind of assistance from the government and the number is growing each day. These people are scared if the lose Obama, they will lose their benefits. They will be out in droves to re-elect him in 2012.
23,000,000 Facebook fans is proof. He has alot of love out there that we don’t realize. And so far all the Republican candidates look weak. The House leadership is a joke. Sadly, at this point, I don’t see how Obama can lose.
I hope I am wrong, but I have a bad feeling about 2012. I think the Republicans blew it with the debt ceiling agreement and the Democrats will contol all heads of government in 2013 again.
He’s done. No one ever gets reelected with this type of performance. No one.
You are way too pessimistic. Hussein will be tough to beat, but the number of Facebook fans he has is pretty meaningless. Additionally, this endless railing at the House leadership is tiring. Winning only the House in 2010 meant we could block some of Obama's agenda and that's about it. We've stopped additional stimulus, state aid/union bailouts, etc, etc. The fact we tied ANY spending cuts to a debt ceiling increase is fairly remarkable considering it's never been done before.
These people are scared if the lose Obama, they will lose their benefits. They will be out in droves to re-elect him in 2012.
You make a good point here though. Once upon a time if people couldn't find work because the economy sucked they'd immediately want to vote out the incumbent. Now that they can live off some sort of benefits for years upon years, it's a good bet that the half of the country that is on the dole in some form or other will vote for the candidate that promises to protect their freebies - in this case Obama.
We are thinking the same...very frightening at how weak our field is...I am not energized by one single person running. I posted the same thing on a thread a few hrs ago.
I agree with you regarding Obama. I think he gets re-elected.
Not so sure about the Dems taking back the House, though.
And that is when all hells going to break lose. There are Americans that will not put up with more of the Marxist Agenda. And Obama will see it as a green light to do what ever is neccessary to achieve his Goal. It will get ugly.
