Not to mention, how many movies has Hollywood made about dogs who show lifelong loyalty to their masters, save their owner’s life, and/or save the life of another animal; many of which are “based on a true story”?

Now compare that number to the number of movies made about cats.

;-)

Cats are very hard to train, hence why dogs are the preferred pet for Hollywood movies. Cats can be trained but it takes a VERY long time to train them. It took me 4 months to train my orange shorthair how to do the limited amount of tricks I taught him. He can stand on his hind legs, do a high 5 and touch his nose to my hand on command. It takes a bit of coaxing to get him to roll over, come on command, fetch, sit and lie down. He’s 1 year old though, so he has a lot of time to learn a few more tricks.
