This seems like a good place to ask if any Freepers know a SE Texas breeder with Spitz or Border Collies. I recently lost my 11 year old Spitz and am feeling sort of hollow without her company. I've been checking classifieds and even emailed the AKC local chapter to inquire but with no luck. There is a glut of Yorkies, Bulldogs and Poodles in the ads, but they're not for me. I need a smart dog with an attitude, confident and not docile.

I'm near the gulf coast but travel North quite often, so anything up to Tyler would be ok.

I used to have a little white Eskimo spitz female.
Smartest dog I ever had.

Also had a yorkie. Dang, those things are expensive now!! I'd like to find a silver chinchilla persion kitten. Anybody know of any for sale near Corpus Christi, Tx? .

There are 147 Border Collies and Border Collie mixes listed on petfinder.com within 100 mile radius of Tyler, Tx. Also, check at local humane socities and foster care groups near where you live. Lots of people love their border collie pups, until the pups grow up, then they throw ‘em away.
