Thanks for the info. The trap in the pic is very similar to the one we have. We do have to do it soon before more litters appear — hopefully next week. Our “Planned Pethood” organization will take in ferals between 7:30 am and 8:30 am without an appointment, so we just need to catch before midnight, stop food and water, and take in the next morning. Thanks again!

When the “Professional” kitten catcher came over, she put newspaper on the bottom of the disabled traps and sprinkled food in. I had a couple days until they were to be snipped, so they got used to eating in the trap. When the day came, I set the doors to drop and caught them one at a time. I would catch one and hustle it out to the barn and wait for the next. A real pain, but if those guys didn’t get worked on, we would be loaded with cats. One of the 6 month olds was already pregnant. Unbelievable.
