The Marine Corps Verse:

I did some research on Eternal Father, Strong to Save thinking it could be used at my father-in-law's funeral.

I was really surprised at all the different verses that have been written. He was a WWII submarine sailor and they had a verse for submariners, aviators, divers and more. I'm really not sure what the original verses were when it was written but from what I saw with my research it pretty much covered all the different jobs we sailors might be involved in.

There seems to be a verse for every specialty - I've left instructions that the Marine Corps verse be included at my funeral.
