No, the assumption is that the laws of physics are the same at all times and in all places. Many of those laws we teach to undergraduates, and they are free to apply what they have learned to explain what that which has not been observed cannot happen.
And just to address your point neither 14,000 nor even one person have observed nuclear fusion in "cold" conditions in a solid state lattice of platinum or nickle or anything else. Pons and Fleishman did not discover cold fusion because it does not happen.
How is it you are able to block this 24/7 just like Rossi?

I did, on another post, I pointed out that strangely this stuff was wiped out and corrected right after he started getting exposed on forums.

That is exactly what is happening here. He is taking something that theoretically exists blowing it up to astronomical proportions as part of the con.
My point was, he did it once, and he is trying to do it again.
Let me make a plain example: A guy says he invented a better mouse trap but has never captured a mouse in his entire life.
Well, that is what we have with Rossi, someone who hasn’t captured a mouse in his entire life. Suspect he is mental, has some kind of syndrome that requires him to seek recognition and admiration from others without any ablity.
Why does any of this matter? Rossi will apply any scientific theory it takes to separate as much money from as many people’s wallets that he can. That is the only theory you need to concern yourself with.
