You do the honors on this one...
I can attest for #4.
There’s 2 guys at my workplace who’ve smoked for years, had heart attacks, and are doing great afterwords.
Of course, the fear of death demanded them to quit smoking, but they’re still above ground.
I earnestly encourage you to go with this message.Sell it! SMOKING IS GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
Dang it I never thought I’d be advise smokers how to market death but there you go. This is a winning campaign. Go for it! Just do it.
SMOKING IS GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
Smoking is also good for the economy. Call me crazy but I truly believe that much of the financial mess we’re facing right now in trying to pay social security, medicare, pensions and on and on can be tied to the vast numbers of aging Americans who quit smoking. Simply put, they’re living much longer after leaving the workforce. Better to smoke and die shortly after your productive years end. I’m doing my part.
My parents, two sisters and my brother all smoked. I’m female, almost 64 years of age and baby of the family. I’ve never smoked. My father died of lung cancer at the age of 72. My mother died of lung cancer at the age of 69. My brother died of a massive heart attack at the age of 51, and my second oldest sister is now in hospice care, dying of lung cancer. She stopped smoking 6 years ago because she had been diagnosed with 4 aneurysms in her head. She won’t make her 69th birthday in September. Our oldest sister is an alcoholic who has been institutionalized for over 40 years. She is 71 and still smokes regularly. I’m not fool enough to think that I won’t develop cancer at some point, nor do I have any hopes of living to be a ripe old age. It just doesn’t run in my family.
This answers the question I posted here, back in April, 2008.
“How long before studies show smoking is good for you too?”

Three years, three months, apparently.
Smoking can be very enjoyable and relatively harmless if, after you inhale, you blow the smoke back out again within, oh, about 25 seconds. Just remember, be sure and blow the smoke out again.
Okay, say what you like, mock if you must.
BUT, the second time I had pneumonia, when I was sleeping in a chair so I could breathe, when I woke up with a coughing fit, the only thing that would stop the coughing was a cigarette.

Smoking Does Not Cause Lung Cancer (According to WHO/CDC Data)*
Well fiddlestix! I stopped smoking six or seven years ago (been so long I can’t remember; is memory loss associated with stopping smoking?), so now I carry around the extra weight, and these studies are indicating I should smoke ten cigarettes a day? Man I wish they would make up my mind!
That’s great news! I’ll mention it to Johnny Carson and Sammy Davis and Yul Brynner and Rod Serling and Lucille Ball and Peter Jennings and...

As a stress reliever, smoking does save lives. Several times over the years, going out for a smoke kept me from choking the living crap out of some butt hole who richly deserved it.
Now more than ever it is critically important for Conservatives to have Free Republic as our online resource where we can discuss the real news, not the news as the current administration's public relations spin machine is spewing it.
We need Free Republic because it's the online site where Conservatives can discuss, defend and make cogent arguments about all Conservative issues.
Free Republic is not just a site where Conservatives give voice to opinions in often heated discussions. Free Republic also serves as a rallying point where Conservatives can align with other Conservatives and get involved in making our strongly held opinions heard above the fray of leftist bleating.
Conservatives on Free Republic become involved and remain involved in grassroots activism, all while making the steps necessary to return our country to its Conservative principles and standards.

If they were mostly democrat supporters we would all be hearing about the “benefits of bathing your lungs in healthful smoke”
