Frankly, I don't get this. When the temp approaches 100 degrees, the wind turns into a blast furnace. Plus this is a terrific way to get a terrible sunburn, and don't forget the possibility of massive road rash!

When it got ridiculously hot, I'd swap my leather jacket for a denim one. But I always rode with heavy jeans, boots, jacket, and gloves, no matter how hot it got (I had these really amazing Held summer gloves I got from Helimot a few years back - very cool, but still completely protective). Coolmax shirts helped a lot.
