The woman, known only as juror number 12 left her job and went into hiding fearing co-workers would 'want her head on a platter'.

Her husband said before leaving she told him: 'I’d rather go to jail than sit on a jury like this again.'

He told NBC News he was worried for her health and had his bags packed ready to leave if his 60-year-old wife's name gets released.

The woman, who moved to Florida from Michigan fled the area, retiring from her job working at Publix Grocery over the phone because she didn't feel safe.

“So how does anyone process that!”

I think that is why everyone is so angry. It doesn’t make any (COMMON) sense. They wanted to go home instead of deliberate. They aren’t getting the reception they planned and now claiming “fear”. BS! I have yet to see or hear anyone physically attacking them. They just WISHED everyone would shut up so they don’t have to hear people who think they let a murder go free.

Not going to happen. They made their decision based on Baez statement and not on the evidence as the juror foreman just admitted. they suspected George (who was NOT on trial) and there was absolutely NO EVIDENCE of that. They obviously did t’t even listen to the EVIDENCE or the jury instructions.

How did they remember anything since most of them took no notes? Only 11 hrs. deliberation which started with 6-6 believing she murdered her daughter.

The people calling people vigilantes are the ones trying to silence anyone who disagrees with them. Not the other way around.

Of course it is...this trial and all the fallout is not going away soon...it’s going to hang around for sometime yet. Heck she’s got to face “Zanny” here soon on those charges....

Am thinking the Attorneys have talked Casey into going to a Mental Health clinic somewhere....convincing her this is a “safe” place to be. She’ll comply too...she’s too scared to go out in the public now.

Here ya go CB...The jury foreman did indeed say that...

The jury foreman in the Casey Anthony trial — who asked not to be identified — says—” many of the jurors believe Casey Anthony killed her daughter Caylee.”

EXACTLY!!!!They should be drilled on common sense matters. For instance if a girl is out partying and the grandmother does not have the baby,,,the big question is....... Who has the baby? Especially is the partying gal does not have a job for a “:NANNY”. Poor trashy gal ...lying to all and her family should have had her committed.

Jurors needed to know what Beyond a REASONABLEq Doubt means. It DOESNT MEAN beyond any and all doubt !! Jurors shouild be investigated before they are allowed to make life and death decisions.

So now everything posted to be read on the ‘net is true? Please...
Anyways: That jury was sequestered, tired, & sans common sense. Period. The defense fed into their “inside the box” thinking; the pros kicked ass but in the end Casey & her pack of lies ruled the courtroom. I find it amazing that 12 ppl could find her guilty of the lies she told, yet the very things she lied about were what proved her not innocent to begin with.

Yes, it’s true, he would acknowledge the jury with a “good morning” greeting .... and that, indeed, established a rapport. He outsnookered the prosecution with that tactic. And he should not have been allowed to do that. But you know lawyers, it’s all about “winning” and not about the murder of a little child.

I agree. I remember witnesses, forensic scientists, medical examiners use the term “common sense tells you”. Our experience/success in life will always come from some shape or form of common sense. These jurors didn’t have time to go over hardly any evidence. They got released, had to pick a foreman, have their lunch....there was about 400 pieces of evidence. Granted, they probably didn’t need to go through all of it, but they should have spent more time in this case. It was a forensic case.

Good comment. I also don’t want to join the nasty club, but I think you are right. I heard a commentator today say that he thought the jury took the easy way out, the path that took the least thinking, i.e., oh, you can’t hand me simple proof ? I have to think” Never mind, let her go. Casey got away with murder and the jury got away with letting her get away? Maybe?

I am not upset about this interview...if you say he is not being compensated...fine. I am upset over the comments of the jurors. “sick to our stomachs” “ did not say she was innocent”, and now this guy talking about having to put his name on the paper. Please spare us.....This is just as bad as Jose Baez, making that silly statement of “justice was served for Caylee” huh?? I come from a small rural community, may not be the sharpest tool in the box...but,I do have common sense. If I wake up in the morning, the ground is soaked, water puddles everywhere...common sense tells me it rained while I slept. Did not hear it, didn’t see it, but I know it rained. The shortest distance between two points, is a straight line. Caylee was in custody of her daughter, the last time she was seen, Casey did not report her missing for over 30 days, she lied to anyone who asked where she was. The next time Caylee is seen, was when her body was found. Common sense. What is the difference between Scott Peterson, and Caylee Anthony? Both cases were circumstantial. However, one sits on death row, and the other is going free. I do not think people should threaten or name call the jurors...however, we do not have to respect their verdict. The justice system works, and it doesn’t work. Casey Anthony and her attorney threw the dice and won. They threw alot of clutter, allegations, and innuendo to the jury cluttering the trial, and it worked. The jury was suspicious of George?? He was not on trial. There were no charges against George.I have no desire to see this interview tonight. These people can offer no explanation for their verdict. Murder One?? No. Premeditated?? No. But not even manslaughter?? They say they had no cause of death...was there a cause of death with Laci Peterson?? The perfect murder has come to light....all you have to do is hide the body in nature’s elements long enough to have a ‘dry-bones’ case and very circumstantial. Hire a lawyer who the bar has stated “he has little regard for the legal system”, and add a whole laundrybag of clutter....gas cans, affairs, etc., accuse everyone else, even the police, and medical examiner. And most important...pick a jury that gets confused over what they are supposed to do, and with very little common sense. These are the ingredients for the perfect murder!!! Sad........................

I love you Greta, but I’m joining the people who are boycotting your interview, because we don’t want to hear these people’s lies.He votes her not guilty, now he says he believed she was guilty. He’s lieing and we don’t care what he says.

See Greta—commentators can’t convince us. You tried to insult my intelligence this morning by inferring I did not understand jury duty or the job of the prosecutor. Nice way to treat someone that told you they usually watch your show.

Americans are speaking loud and clear. No platform to explain the lost logic of this verdict. And no buyers remorse. But most importantly............

..........no CAPITALIZATION or promotion of casey anthony or those responsible for letting her go free

I didn’t hear him say that but I’ll give you that one but then you have this.

But because the prosecution never showed how it happened, they were -- by the letter of the law – forced to rule for acquittal on all murder charges.

The jury foreman also tells Van Susteren Casey wasn't the only Anthony family member that raised an eyebrow of suspicion during the trial.

>> Hows it feel to be part of a mob?

What the mob wants, the mob gets...

Amendment VI
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

McConnell Raises Concern Over Civilian Terror Trials in Light of Casey Anthony Acquittal

I guarantee our Founding Fathers dealt with similar sensational noise in the their day. It's no wonder they set the bar so high for conviction.

The Statism is unfortunately strong these days.

Casey was the only one on trial for murder......suspicion regarding the others simply means you can disregard their testimony or part of their testimony.

One would think. But the charge was murder.

Think about abortion. It’s not murder. It’s legal killing.

by the letter of the law – forced

I find that statement telling. Reminds me yet again they did not understand their responsiblity as jurors, nor were they capable to do the task.

I could care less what they thought of George Anthony...that was NOT their "task" and there was no evidence presented to that effect that he was to be tried by this jury behind closed doors...but he was.

Bull...you do not need to know how she died to find she murdered her daughter........ask Scott Peterson about that.....his wife and baby were found washed up from the ocean...body decomposed so bad they never found out how she died......yet he sits on death row. Seems California jurors have more common sense then Florida jurors.

Think about abortion. It’s not murder. It’s legal killing.

No it's legal "murder"...it is done with fore thought...and knwoing the end result is death. Taking another's life thru abortion is murdering your own child. It's a "decision" made.

Are you saying none of these jurors have received death threats? Are you saying no one has threatened to attack them or their families???

You might want to tell the millions of babies who are no longer here because someone murdered them..and a nation which made it “legal” to do so.

No, I missed the sentencing. I did see the prosecutor on Fox tonight talking about how the duck/duct tape wasn’t even found on the body and that there was no evidence that it was ever on the body.
