Look your fantastic jury system worked, why aren't you out celebrating? Why bother with dealig us unwashed lynch mob types? What the hell are you trying to prove here?
That emotional mob mentality isn’t what this country was founded on. That the constitution was put in place which is the best system in the world but isn’t perfect but still needs to be followed and accepted. That the prosecution was relying on emotionalism rather then facts that could be proven, not unproven junk science.
This case was handled pathetically by both sides but the emotional vitriol with which even so called constitutional conservatives on this site have responded is disheartening.
A little girls life was cut short and in all likelyhood the mother is directly responsible but it's not the fault of the jury that she walks. From the stupid officer who didn't want to get his shoes dirty to the prosecution who thought unproven junk science was the evidence they would rely on was negligence of duty and where the anger should be directed.
