I don’t know how to respond to your questions other than to say I don’t understand the relevance of elections to the present case.
If you want to see a contrast, look at the discussions over at the Wall St. Journal. Many, not all, of the comments are more rational than what can be found here.
Then go back over to the fabulous Wall Street Journal comments and get lost.
Relevance? I clearly wrote that elected officials are a part of our Constitution, just as our Judicial system is. If you have the right to protest the actions of duly elected politicians because you don’t agree with them, then you must support the right to protest the actions of a jury. You can’t have it both ways and say you can protest one and not the other. You know this and are purposely avoiding the question because you can’t argue it.

Yeah, Freeper really degenerated here...the WSJ had comments that were VERy impassioned, but not hysterical or name calling.
