Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.
Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.
Oh it matters. He blew it however when questioned by Greta. I was shocked. Its obvious that even he wasnt too convinced of what he was saying in court.
My point is that by making that statement on Greta he revealed that even he couldnt convince himself that the tape had not moved. They were not talking about the loose piece of tape either. My question is, was there some sort of sense that the jurors got that even the prosecutors had reasonable doubt. From his statement on Greta I would say yes.
Its hard to tell. He may want to be a hero to her and his family and she would only manipulate him like Cindy. Either he is a good actor or he really feels hurt and is trying to mean something. I guess time will tell.
I go back and forth on him. He seems like he could be halfway sane, but at other times it seems like he's just as messed up as the rest of them. And the thing that really bothers me about him is his statement at the memorial service. "CMA, I will never forget the promise I made to you." IMO, the answer to what that promise was is the million dollar question.
Sorry, I just saw this post. I saw a couple of young men outside the courthouse saying they wished to marry her. Not much different than women who have sent Scott Peterson marriage proposals or other high-profile killers in the past. We live in a society with many sick people.
Trials like this always end up like a circus side show. Sadly.
Cheney Mason just said people are obsessed with believing Casey is guilty.
Gee, it’s like me I am obsessed with the sun coming up. Geez.
LOL
Hmmmmmmm, Cheney.....too drunk to figure out why?
Casey is guilty. Obssessed? NO, the jury made a decision. A poor decision at that, but thats the final decision. Those hanging out at the courthouse may be somewhat obsessed. Cheney can KMA.
I don’t know of anyone here that is obsessed. Crime is a subject that many people are interested in. People have been so called “obsessed” since Jack the Ripper. Casey can now join him.
Movies, books about criminal cases always sell well and spark conversation.
What I get tired of are those that fail to see that many people will discuss this case and others. If they don’t like it. There are many other topics to choose from.
I don’t get on science threads and tell people they are obssessed or crazy for liking that topic.
Exactly! I also think he wishes he could take back that “flipped bird”. Wow, that was classy, and it spoke volumes.
The “George and Lee abuse” defense was so offensive. Next only to the killing of Caylee, it was the worst aspect of this entire story.
I hope one day Baez’s darling little daughter - the one he could tell “I saved a life today” - accuses him of exactly the same thing Casey did to her father and brother. It won’t matter then whether it’s true or not, either .. a charge like that, once made, is always out there as a stain on one’s reputation. Baez deserves to rot in hell for that shameful excuse for Casey’s behavior.
I agree...Mason can KMA too.
However, we don't have to like or respect it.
Enabling bad behavior which has a remote chance of being “fixed” by appropriate measures is one thing. Living with and copying with a sociopath is quite another. If you think “normal” disaplinary, or otherwise measures, for a sociopath will accomplish the desired end then you simply do not have an understanding of the delima facing parents who cope with these individuales.

Yes, Casey is guilty.
I meant obsessed as described by Mason as being a crock; a joke.
I saw it as offensive too.
Mason, Baez and Company are cashin’ in. Just as Ashton said, it has been them along ramping up the media hype.
I guess Jerry Springer is a good venue for trash like Casey.
