Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.

Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.

I don’t use a bong...

Getting over being a hippie and becoming a conservative is a lot easier than getting over being stupid.

I did not in any way give an opinion that I thought it was a cover up.
I simply, when asked what could possibly be an explanation for the tape being there...When you take things out of context you end up thinking the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that Casey murdered Caylee.

Wow--your perception of reality is second only to Casey Anthony's twisted truth. Nobody asked you to offer alternate fantasy ideas. Nobody took your post out of context. In post # 583 I stated: NO ACCIDENT results in duct tape covering the mouth and nose of a toddler.

You replied by arguing: But trying to cover up an accident might.

To reiterate: nonsensical foolery does not equal reasonable doubt, and your credibility is in the toilet.

“”She would have known exactly when she last saw Caylee because she took a week of vacation AFTER the June 15th backyard fight and Casey’s disappearance””
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can you fill me in on that backyard fight? I have seen reference to it without any details.
I think we’re all confused at this point but we’re still able to put it together better than the jury did.
I asked the question on another thread how Cindy could have been so positive when it was she found the ladder left up at the pool and the gate at the fence was left open. Did she keep a diary or what? I thought that probably Casey did that to draw suspicion away from her.
Testimony was that she went to work and reported it to her fellow employees the next day. The reply I got was she remembered it because it was the day after she and Caylee had visited her father in the rest home - Father’s Day. It would appear that she wasn’t on vacation at that time.
George testified that he got up that morning with Caylee and fixed breakfast and I believe she was watching TV, Cindy wasn’t home. He had checked Casey’s room when he got home from work the night before and Casey wasn’t home yet. He did say that she left the home with Caylee that morning but didn’t say what time Casey came out of her room or showed up. That was just kind of left hanging.
Always more questions than answers. I guess this will be another COLD CASE file, right? Someone did something but who, what, when and how? Do you think another investigation will be opened to find those answers? Never happened in the OJ case after the “not guilty” verdict so I guess it won’t happen here either.
“he thought the entire family was complicit in the coverup. “
To believe that, you surely would have to give Cindy an academy award for her panic and surprise that could be heard in her voice in calling 911 after confronting her daughter. By then the body had long been in the swamp. No initial coverup. Any covering came after the body was dumped, and as we all know, Cindy tried to cover the Internet searches to no avail. (Oz! This case isn’t a cold case. The person that did it got off and cannot be retried.
They know who did it. I guess they can’t go out and find some yokel off the street to blame. Besides, Casey said it was an accident. I guess if your kid has an accident you just close ‘em up in a trash bag and dump ‘em off a cliff or something. Tell the family somebody ran off with junior a month ago, you tried to find them and gave up. Life goes on. Now don’t bother me coppers, ya can’t prove nothin’. Besides Daddy and my bro were perverts.
Sorry about the sarcasm. I can’t help it.
Well, I had to ask. I guess “cold case” means no one has EVER been tried and found not guilty for a particular crime so it must just go in a dead file then? Probably!
Okay, you made me do it.
Caylee has been filed in the dead file. Never to come back out of the dark cabinet.
LOL
You’re as dense as they come and you’re not fooling anybody on here except for a few other nutjobs that are rational-thought challenged.
My sense is that there are a few other things that would make a mother panic and try to cover up. Allowing a child to die in a car seat in the heat of the day is one. Allowing a child to drown when she should have been watched is another. Allowing a child to be abused by someone is another. All of these would be reasons to cover up. None of them are capital murder cases. All of them are prosecutable with charges ranging from negligence to complicity.
We had the trial in our area of a lady who let her child die in a hot car. She was savaged by just about everybody.
Did those happen to Caylee Anderson. Don’t know
>>To reiterate: nonsensical foolery does not equal reasonable doubt, and your credibility is in the toilet.<<
If you can’t prove what the crime was you can’t convict. Feelings are not a legal basis for deciding a case. The prosecution did not prove it’s case. If you want to rely on junk science to convict that’s your right I suppose.
We will probably get to find out. They are talking of bringing charges against the Anthony’s to get their costs paid by them.
Besides, Casey said it was an accident.
Lindy, I haven't followed the case/trial that closely until now...would you mind clarifying that point. Is that what she told the police when the body was finally found? Or is that what the defense stated in the trial? I know that's what Baez said at the conclusion "this terrible accident" but I have yet to hear their explanation. Thanks! :)
Stepford Juror #3 was just on Greta. She said the biggest problem she had with the State's case was "They didn't prove the cause of death...we don't know what killed her...If you don't know what the crime is you can't convict"..."Nobody knows what happened to Caylee...we threw out the chloroform."
(Not ONE WORD about the duct tape, BTW.)
You cannot blame the parents for the choices Casey has made in her life. She’s leagally an adult and knows right from wrong...and did so before and after Caley’s death.
Though parents can and do teach their children how to make decisions and right from wrong, parents cannot make their children do them once they are of age.
MAny children, who have been raised by loving parents go bad, and many raised by cruel parents go good. THEY choose and determine their actions once of age...not the parents.
