As the prosecution laid out the case, it is clear that there is no reasonable explanation for her death that does not involve the active participation of Casey Anthony.

What possible grounds were there for "resonable" doubt.

I have doubts as to how Casey alone disposed of the child’s body. My biggest thing was why Casey (or her mother) would wait 31 days to report the child missing. She could have easily said she had been kidnapped.

There remains the possibility that someone else in her household or social circles (if not a complete stranger) actually killed the child. I was surprised that the defense did not ask, about everyone with whom Casey associated in the couple of months after the child went missing, “...is there any chance that he/she killed Caylee?”, instead of just suggesting it was someone in her family. They might have had a verdict last night instead of waiting until today.
