OOPs Attu not Shemya. Fingers and mind are not connected at the moment.
The most amazing thing I remember seeing out at Shemya was seeing the currents of the Bering Sea and the Pacific Ocean meeting. The waves would actually hit each other where they met.
And yes... the food was always the best!!!
