What, specifically, do you want to do in XP or Windows 7 that you feel you can’t or don’t want to do within OS X? Without that info, any recommendation is incomplete and potentially unhelpful.

I want to keep using my old files with TurboTax, My Documents, mostly MS Office, and MS Notepad, and a few MY Pictures files.
Other than that, it mostly a comfort-level factor, until I get use to using IMac.
I want to keep using my notes in MY Documents on FR with political and religious responses.
