Casey isn’t totally cold here. She used chloroform to knock her daughter out so she would not have to look in the eyes of her daughter and have her daughter know her mother was killing her. It made Casey feel better about it.
So...she knocked her out and applied the duct tape knowing she would never wake up and Caylee would not know Mommy did it.
