Just to clear up a little matter that was hounded on yesterday by a disrupter that I won't bother posting to:

How did George Anthony know to bring gasoline to the Tow Yard, and how did he know to tell Simon Birch that the car had been at Amscot for 3 days?

Ok - how did George and Cindy know how much cash, or that they HAD to take cash to the Tow Yard to retrieve the car? Cindy was at work, George went to the post office to pick up the certified letter. When he read it, he went to Johnson's to see what was going on. I assume the front office person who told him the amount needed to release the vehicle also told him where it was towed from. He said he called them. He then called Cindy and she met him at the house to drive him to retrieve the car.

Who here would know you must have cash or even how much to take without contacting them first? I don't have a link but read this last night - I didn't assume that he went there first, it was reported he did. He also apologized to Simon (per Simon's own words) for Cindy being so loud and complaining about the cost.

I don't think it is odd at all that George didn't call the police due to the smell. He said he was relieved to know neither body was in the trunk so he assumed both girls were ok - at least he knew Casey was because Cindy had been in touch with her. He had just started a new job the day before - how many of us, when faced with a very difficult child who had lied and lied over the years, would have automatically assumed she had killed your grandchild and taken the chance of losing a brand new job?

Cindy went back to work, he went to work - the "sh#t" hit the fan later that day.

Excellent points! This was posted to me last night on yesterday's thread by kcvl so many may not have seen it. It also answered the same question to the person that shall not be pinged! LOL

Simon Birch, the operations manager for Johnsons Wrecker Service during the summer of 2008, said that Anthony’s white Pontiac Sunfire had been on the tow yard’s lot for three days when he examined the car’s exterior in early July
On July 13, 2008, while doing yard work, Cindy and George Anthony found a notice from the post office for a certified letter affixed on their front door. George Anthony picked up the certified letter from the post office on July 15, 2008, and found out that their daughter’s car was in a tow yard

Birch testified that Casey’s car was taken to the tow yard on June 30, after a finance company’s manager reported it abandoned in its parking lot for three days

You and I both have it in our pings now so it's easily accessible should it come up again today. :)
