I’ve heard that she was never offered one. I don’t think the defense can ask for one but if this was a movie, the DA would offer one and it would be accepted before the verdict comes in. OR she could throw herself on the mercy of the court!!! OR throw herself off the roof!!! Who would care?

I think she was offered a plea deal BEFORE Caylee's body was found if she would tell them where they could find Caylee.
