While Channon was forced to watch, her boyfriend was raped prison style and then his penis was cut off. He was later driven to nearby railroad tracks where he was shot and set afire. But Channon’s hell was just beginning. She was beaten; gang raped repeatedly in many ways, had one of her breasts cut off and bleach poured down her throat to destroy DNA evidence all while she was still alive. To add to Channon’s degradation the suspects took turns urinating on her. They too set her body afire, apparently inside the residence, but for some reason left her body there in five separate trash bags.
Where was the media circus? The 24/7 coverage? The TV lynch mob panels?

But a young, attractive white girl accused of the murder of her child? Bring it on! The Libs are in a feeding frenzy!
This heinous hate crime was covered up and the authorities even refused to call it a hate crime.
Only one of the five thugs received the death penalty, (which is under appeal and likely he will get off) one received life and the others with lesser inadequate sentences.
the MSM never covered that case because the guilty were black......racism at it’s worse. that was an horrendous case.

You should know and understand that some crimes are just too henous, too unthinkable for the public to obsorb, let alone the Attorneys, Judges, and Jurors who oversee them....that was one of them. Just as the Dalimer trial was... which we only saw glimpses of for the most part...and certainly the gruesome details were filtered..also for the most part.
But you've entirely 'missed the point' of the media attention to this trial. It was never about Casey in the beginning....it was 'all' about...A MISSING 3 yr.old CHILD called, Caley...from the beginning there was an urgency to get that media attention as she'd been missing for a month! Of course the media's going to get on it, and quickly, and it did just that.
Now step back and think.... The public and the media have interest in cases of missing children...the more media the more chances of finding a child...you should know this as well. They can't do them all but the very urgency of this case drew the rightful attention.
Caley missing had the 'nations' attention...as did the family who were determined, WITH THE MEDIA'S HELP, she would be found....that was until the attention went to Casey being suspect. The media was already going 'full boar' BEFORE Casey was the issue...
so your arguement about the media just flatlined...
