There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.
Court is starting early today at 8:30 a.m.
The countdown for justice for Caylee begins.
Did she really steal that much? How did she steal that much and get away with it? I hadn’t heard it was that much.
Casey is still a lazy lying slut in jail...
NANCY GRACE: To Kathi Belich, joining us from WFTV. Is it true, the reports that she eats, sleeps, reads and lounges all day long?
BELICH: That`s — it is true. That`s about all she does. I understand she has three meals a day. I couldn`t find out whether she eats everything, but she has the option of having dessert three times a day. And she basically spends the day by herself. She has recreation for an hour a day, again alone, whatever she wants to do. Yes, she`s pretty much lounging, reading and sleeping all day long.
GRACE: Now, what can you tell me about the fact that she`s allowed to have photos up, but nothing of little Caylee?
BELICH: Yes, she has a shelf that`s on the wall and a desk in her cell, and she`s allowed to have photos in that cell, on that desk, on that shelf, and she has no photos at all. No photos of Caylee in there.

KOVACH: That area right there is where she was coming out of the woods with a shovel.
CINDY ANTHONY: I feel that my daughter from day one has gotten — you know, she has been a victim just as much as Caylee has.
GRACE: OK. Caylee is likely dead. She`s not as much a victim as little Caylee.

Good question. Especially important when she was probably on some kind of drugs.
That drug question still keeps coming up in my mind. Wondering why it was never mentioned. There had to be drug tests after the arrest.

For 2 + years though? I know she stole a checkbook from that girlfriend of hers and had a shopping spree at Target. It doesn;t take people 2 years to figure out that she would be stealing from them.
That was her Happy 4th of July party look at me naked and wrapped in a flag. She seemed to not be overly picky with her boyfriends.
Obviously she wasn’t attracted to the guys who weren’t trash.
$45k? I don’t recall reading or hearing this before. What was the timeline on when this would have happened? They never had her arrested for theft?

I tried so hard to avoid the whole mess and almost made it! lol! Last week I was sick and stuck on the couch and that’s what got me started.
I’m actually very relieved to hear that.
Among the mountains of new evidence released by the State of Florida against Casey Anthony last week was a statement by Cindy Anthony’s mother, Shirley Plesea, where she told authorities that over time - Casey Anthony stole as much as $45,000 from her parents. Ms. Plesea went on to tell police that at one point, Cindy and George Anthony were almost forced to sell their home because of her granddaughter Casey Anthony’s stealing.
She (Shirley Plesea) indicated that although Casey had stolen money from her on numerous occasions, she used the money in August 2007 to pay for a cake and party favors for Caylee’s 2 Year Birthday Celebration.

All sorts of imaginations can come into play for how she made it for two years without a job.
She may have pimped herself out for all we know. Could have also played the system since she’s a master at playing people anyway, if she was on welfare you can bet she kept it from her friends or anyone else. But I would imagine they checked on that and it would of been brought up in court.
I do however have a serious problem when somewhere someone wrote Casey took close up pictures of her daughter’s privates while sitting in a high chair...could she have been ‘selling’ these to porno thugs? Don’t know if that was rumor or true.
At any rate..she did smoke pot...maybe she also was a drug runner. She sure had a way of fooling people...so nothing for her to get away with that.
Good grief. The Anthony’s had to know that Casey either killed or sold her daughter.
Casey was unfit and should have been prosecuted for that when she did it. Caylee might still be alive today.
Honest to God, a family putting up with that behavior only leads to where it ended up.
Mrs. Grundy is figurative. It means a priggish, prudish person. When Patton (yeah, right) called us “Mrs. Grundy,” I immediately thought that he viewed us as a bunch of old, prune-faced broads and that maybe he viewed Casey as a great-lookin’ (yeah, right) hot chick and that was why he was supporting her. Personally, if I was a guy, I would only approach Casey in a hazmet suit. Eeew, she’s sleazy.
Also in August 2007, George sold his Toyota Camry for $4,000 and gave the money to Cindy. Cindy put the money in her BoA account. At some point after that (I believe in the fall of 2007), Casey forged a BoA deposit slip for $4,400, apparently to repay Cindy for the credit card charges that Cindy had discovered on August 4. Cindy believed the money was in her account and wrote a check for the mortgage that bounced.
it’s clear from the records that were just released that Casey went on a major spending spree with Cindy’s checking account and savings account between the period December 2007 through March 2008.

December 2007:
12/4/2007 – Casey owed $814.00. She apparently had not paid the bill for months, and I believe this may have been the first time it occurred to her to pay her cell bill by hacking into Cindy’s online savings account.
12/6/2007 – Casey transferred $814.00 from Cindy’s BoA money market savings account to Casey’s AT&T account. Cindy’s savings account went negative and she was hit with a $35 overdraft fee, but she transferred $331.75 into the account on 12/14 to balance it, so she paid Casey’s $814.00 cell bill and the overdraft charge.
12/14/2007- Casey uses Cindy’s check at Target ($115.93)
12/14/2007- Casey uses Cindy’s check at Target ($143.17)
12/15/2007- Casey uses Cindy’s check ay Target ($90.81)

I've wondered if that's what Cindy sits back there and reflects on while the prosecution presented it's case.
Don’t forget, she also takes Ecstasy - hence my nickname, Lollipop Girl. As a party girl, it would have been de rigour for her to have been into coke. Coke certainly seems to destroy all moral instinct. I’m not saying she BOUGHT coke (God forbid) but I’m sure her male pals were loaded up with the stuff.
I believe that guy is William Waters - not a boyfriend but from texts it appears she knew he was interested and was keeping him on the hook in case current boyfriend couldn’t return to school in Florida
It’s evident from her testimony that what Cindy was thinking and planning while watching the trial was how she could perjure herself to save Casey.
