Sack, pillage, loot - THEN burn...

OK..sack...pillage...loot...THEN burn...well...I remember something about the raping when I was recruited....yes...yes it was mentioned somewhere in all that.

Truth to tell, I'm still not all that sure of the difference between sacking and pillaging. Must be a technique thing. I'll just watch the others and see whats what.

And whats all this about 'plunder'...same as looting I suppose. I do wish we all had the same playbook with this barbarian thing. Make it all a bit easier.

I think the word ‘rapine’ was invented to cover all the bases. What with all the hard work, leaving one short of breath, they wanted the easiest one-word description possible.

The English language is colorful and has many words of similar meaning to allow one to find exactly the right word to find the precise definition one is looking for.

Therefore the English language has the most words of all languages, just because the users are always ready to bring a new word into use from either foreign sources or by invention. You can ‘google’ that.
