I'm wondering if she was dead before she left the house, and her body laid in the playhouse/sandbox area for some reason before she was ever taken from the house......but I would think it would have to lie there for a little bit for decompostion to show up.

Regarding your theory - the neighbor said she only had the shovel for an hour (1:30 to 2:30 pm on the 18th). He doesn't say her car ever left, but maybe it is possible since he claims to have taken a shower after she borrowed it.
Neighbor does claim that neither she nor the shovel seemed to be very dirty. It's an interesting thought, fatima.....so many things that just don't add up in this case.
