Say what you will, they are both going to be slammed by the court for not obeying its order. They could be taken off the case, they could be referred to the bar for disciplinary action, there could be a mistrial. That was a serious breach of professional conduct in the summation of a very serious trial.

MISTRIAL. Baez had the jury eating out of his hand in a trance and Ashton caused a mistrial on purpose. If I was on the jury NOT GUILTY ALL COUNTS> Ashton may get disbarred over this display.

Maybe so. Time will tell. Regardless I know this was a set up. This is the only way shoddy lawyers like Baez know how to practice law. However, most of them don’t make as many other big errors as Baez had done and at the end of this trial Baez will be lucky to still have a law license. Ashton won’t have to worry on that count.
