Ashton handed Baez a legitimate gripe. A lawyer (or party) does not laugh or smirk or shake his head during the other side’s presentation.
While it’s comical to have to listen to Baez, the prosecutors knew that going in. They can smirk/laugh all they want in their office, but not in the courtroom.
Ashton handed Baez nothing. Baez set Ashton up for this when Baez whined like a little girl to the judge after lunch that Ashton kept making faces at him. I was waiting for Baez to next complain that Ashton was looking at him like some idiotic 5 year old kid might do.
The PERFECT setup for later slipping in “laughing guy over there” when Baez KNOWS the judge isn’t watching intently but has been doing things on a computer...I suppose to keep himself from showing any facial expressions if possible.
Let’s face it, Baez didn’t graduate from a law school. He obviously was valedictorian of his class at some Clown College.
