Agree on all points. Another important dynamic is Cindy not wanting to accept that her daughter, the chronic liar, was a sociopath. I suspect she did the majority of child rearing or at least oversaw Casey's mothering to a large extent. As Ashton said, it's easy to be a mother when you're just having fun with the kid, e.g. the Casey/Caylee "fun" pictures.

I'd like to know more about the June 15th fight between Cindy and Caylee. I think the dam burst that day with Cindy putting up with Casey's irresponsible BS and that's when she called her an unfit mother. I think she also laid down the law with her and told her she wanted her to knock off the partying and start raising the kid. Remember, Cindy was working AND helping with Caylee. I believe Casey stomped off in a huff with an "I'll show you" attitude. I think we can fill in the blanks from that point on.

I agree that that incident was the catalyst in Casey having to "fix" her situation. I believe she was already discovering that Caylee talking was going to be a problem and then Mom blows up at her. As bad as Cindy is, I wouldn't want to go through the rest of my life thinking, "if only I hadn't gotten mad a Casey that day, Caylee would still be with us".
