I know I’m in the minority, but I don’t think she deliberately murdered her child. I do think she neglected her child and demonstrated depraved indifference to her child’s life though. I think she chloroformed her daughter and put her in the trunk of the car while she partied. I have a feeling Cindy Anthony was on Casey’s back about leaving the little girl with them all the time while Casey partied. This was Casey’s way of “taking care of her child” without getting any flack from her mother. When the baby died, Casey figured if she just ignored the problem it would go away. When it didn’t go away, she tried to cover it up and then she lied and then she lied some more. IMO, she does belong in prison though, but I don’t think the death penalty is warranted. She needs to live with what she did.
