One of my granddaughters is the exact age that Caylee was when she died. When I see all the things she is doing...singing, skipping, etc., I am reminded of how adorable Caylee is on those videos: reading her little storybook, going swimming, etc.
I just cannot fathom that someone could do this to any child, let alone their own. Incomprehensible.
My daughter-in-law is an Ace ER Trauma Nurse...she has said that though these teams she works with have seen it all and so learn to numb out in order to go to the next patient, they're always affected when it's a child that comes in. But I will say this...murderers can and do the unthinkable...and more than once. If per chance Casey gets off and I was her parent...I wouldn't be so sure I wouldn't be her next target.
