Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.

So by Baez’s account Scott Peterson should be living the good life right now instead of being on death row..I mean no one actually SAW him kill Laci right
Oh u mean Juror #4..yeah Ive heard things about that woman but if its 11-1 for conviction that juror will turn around and convict

They want us to believe that these “different” people went around making shirts for their missing daughter, putting up signs, lying to each other about where the daughter and mom are.... and they all knew all along that the kid had drown? What is he trying to make us believe?
personally, I don’t think there is enough duct tape in Florida to hold this defense together.

There is more than one. Baez made sure there were “ minorities” on the jury who “can’t judge people”. They fought tooth and nail to keep one little black lady on the jury who wanted no part of convicting Casey, especially judging to put Casey to death.
I won’t be surprised if the jury is hung.
You know... as much as I dislike this guy... I gotta admit that he has a very difficult case. I wonder if he has in confidence advised this lady to accept a plea deal, or to tell the truth... etc.... and that he has no choice but try to argue for a liar.
George was a cop, once he left that duct tape laying around, I wouldn’t admit to anything either. He is smart enough to claim he didn’t know. When cops take possession of something there is a chain of custody.......it was broken when they just left it in the office for anyone to handle.
This jury should be so PO’d at Baez. Because of all his delays they are missing our Nation’s Birthday celebration. A juror has a cruise scheduled for the 7th so gotta be outta there by the 6th....They might vote guilty to all 7 charges out of maddnes for Baez
They already won’t be out by the 7th......if they go for the death penalty it continues doesn’t it?
Yeah they did ALL that for an accidental drowning..NO ONE actually believes that..and if they say they do they are pulling your leg..no one has a kid drown accidentally and NOT call the police..be it an adult or a child, if someone is in distress you call 9-1-1..not wrap the person in plastic bags and dump them in the woods somewhere and go on TV and pretend the person was abducted..Baez really has no choice but to spew this nonsense because he has a sociopath for a client who still thinks she is the most amazing thing ever and can get away with anything
Yup. Just what I thought. Someone who believes in redemption without any punishment.
