Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.
Let me know if you want on or off the ping list.
This case has nothing to do with you.
Fascinating. Thank you for that information. WOW
“In any event, your inability to stay on the right side of the law is irrelevant to this case.”
Ma’am, when you come out to play, you play hard.
It was time for them to hold Casey accountable long before that. It was Casey’s decision alone to murder her daughter. She can blame her parents all she wants , like she has done her entire life, but that is her way of making her family feel guilty instead of remembering SHE MURDERED HER DAUGHTER!
I have often wondered if Casey even remembers when, where and how Caylee died.
Jose, Stick It!
Who’s playing on emotions here anyway?
Without a doubt.
3 day drug and alcohol binge??? Oh... uh... where’s Caley? That’s possible too.
Thanks, I didn't know what the fight was about. I definitely explains how Casey was getting money. I mean, two years of not working? I knew she stole checks, lots of them, from Cindy. Also, credit card theft. I can't even recall how many friends said she stole from them. Just wow...
I don’t think even BOZO would let her talk to the FEDS.
Seem to remember One Fed mentioned at one of the command centers. No biggee.
I am thinking about Casey’s screwed up face and attempt to cry. When I cry you know it and know it’s real. I have never seen her shed a tear for anyone except herself. Wondering if something on that kleenex to help her shed a tear or 2 ?
Involuntary manslaughter would be a godsend for the defense.. a child abuse conviction leading to death would be almost as bad as 1st degree premeditated... makes the Death Penalty phase even more pressured,, would she take the stand , beg for her life?
There are actually some absolutely hilariously unintended laughs in Baez’s closing remarks. Between calling her A SLUT and a LIAR (over and over again with increasing volume) I’m actually enjoying his silly summary. Hope he makes some more low-class vulgar jokes!
She’s had a lot of time to hone her acting skills.
Yep, absolutely! I just can't decide if ol' Sparky is worse vs life in jail in the general population.
there were times I didn’t like him, but I didn’t stay glued to things day to day. I gave him some leeway, as he had a lousy client. BUT, a little girl is dead and this case needs to be resolved with justice done. I am sure he is doing his best with a lousy case.
if the jury is anything like me, they are disliking him as well.
Not a 3-day binge because on June 17th Casey’s car was spotted “backed into” the Anthony garage (same on the 18th), and on the 15th she was fighting with Cindy Anthony and left the house.
Inappropriate enforcement of law has to do with all of us - like little kids getting busted for running a lemonaide stand.
Not that this is the case here - but, If we do not watch, the law goes nuts, and busts people for defending 10-yo girls from attack.
If the jury is like all of us they are either laughing to themselves or falling asleep
