Frontiersman Davy Crockett once said "You can go to hell - I'm going to Texas!"

He’s not listening to General Sheridan.
The horns are 5-7, (had to get my hands a little dirty to get that factoid), and it’s always loaded.
Good for Glenn!
This country keep goin’ the way it’s goin’, I’ll be ready to move to the Republic of Texas too.
He shoulda talked to me first. He will have to get used to hail and tornado warnings, which I never could. I used to have to go to school up there for my job. I bet I had 30 courses, at week or two at a time. 20 of them had tornado’s and hail involved. One tornado hit my apartment complex and collapsed the roof. I was in the 2nd floor and just got wet. My truck got some dimples though with the inevitable hail storm. I’m not kidding, almost every time I was up there there were weather warnings. Other than that, welcome to Texas.
white and powdery ..
You want white and powdery then stay east of the Mississippi River confluence with GOM.....
I guess Connecticut’s Dept.Of Revenue won’t be sponging of of Glenn much longer.

I spent 3 days, this week, camping with my son at Lake Texoma. Was it hot? Hell yes! is was hot. It builds a young
mans character. He’s nine. And dad gets to lose some weight.
In January I will golf on our sunny 65 degree days.
I love Texas.
Best story .... He kicked a fellow workers lunch bag out of his hand and sent it flying after the co-worker pissed him off. If any back stabbing “Weasel” activity at work and he gets the scent, he gets in the face of the “Weasel”.
When we were kids, he was the cop on the playground. He routinely scheduled fist fights with any punk who dared pick on a smaller kid. He's take his shots, get his nose bloodied, but he'd stand his ground every time and never lose.
Ping
Texoma , is that northernish , closer to Oklahoma it sounds?
I grew up in lake country, Minnesota. nothing like a hot day, a cool lake..
I hear ya on the weight. used to bale hay and straw in heat, that’s a good workout too.
Kinda like my Grandfather told me America was all about(he was a WW I navy vet, The Great White Fleet)
With 370 miles of Texas beach you should be able to find a spot.
Lately, I have been thinking about an abandoned missile silo in the midwest.
As the man criss-crosses America he sees the same sign in church after church. "Call Heaven, $20 dollars".
After visiting every state in the country his journey ends in Galveston, Texas. He enters a beautiful white church built in the 1800's. It is a stunning place. But something is different. There is a phone in the back of the church but the sign says "Call Heaven, 20 cents".
The man finds the priest and asks him why in his church the call to heaven is only 20 cents. The priest chuckles and replies, "because it is a local call".
Let me see if I get this correct...
GB is leaving NY for TX. He is doing it BEFORE July 1 so that he can claim TX as residence AND not pay NY taxes.
Rush and Boortz move to FL and GB moves to TX, all to avoid paying liberal state taxes. That will make a liberal’s head explode.
The Gulf of Mexico come pretty close to approximating one, with warmer water than the West Coast and nicer beaches than the East. Mosquitoes? Can't help you there, but have you ever been to Maine in June?
good for him.
last person (with money) leaving NY, please turn out the lights
