This picture of Braelyn was made
in March with all the other pictures they made.
They all went to Myrtle Beach yesterday and
she saw the ocean for the first time.
They were at the edge of the water but
when the next wave came in up to her hips
she was very afraid. Bless her little heart.
I am so jealous as I love the ocean so much.
They asked me to go but I just wasn't up to it this time.

This is absolutely gorgeous, Meg, along with the sweet words of the poem.

I know that “Be still and know that I am God” is a favorite of our friend, yorkie. She told me to use that when I was upset or worried in life. I thank her for that....as I’m reminded of it many times in my life.

I can’t answer everyone at this time. I’ve had a rough few days and am worn out. Gotta get a shower and dressed to see if I’ll feel some better. I will try to get back IF I CAN!! I went to grocery store yesterday evening and stocked up. I have a filet mignon to prepare for me a little later. I was going to have it last night and I was just too tired after grocery shopping (but I at least have some good food and snacks....LOL!) I will remember to say “Be still and know that I am God” today.

What a beautiful array of flowers, Meg. Thank you but I could not match my font colors. The pinks and yellows were a no go and I tried 4 greens and FINALLY, I just let it go!! LOL!!

I love the ocean, too. When I was in CA last month - Santa Monica Pier was one of my favorite places to visit! I could just stand and watch those waves all day. (They're kinda like a lava lamp, eh? Never the same from one second to the next!) LOL!!

Of course a lava lamp is not beautiful, awsome, inviting, loud one minute, quiet the next. And NO ONE respects a lava lamp. ROTF!

I think the thing I love most about that scripture, is the word "know". It doesn't say hope I am God, or pray that I am God, or even wish that I were God, but.......

Hello dear FRiends! I am back from a dream trip to Hawaii, which I booked and paid for long ago prior to my dear Husband's death. I figured...why not go anyway? So I did, and invited my two sisters to come along. OF COURSE, there were snafus and Fubars throughout the trip (not MY FAULT!) and we almost ended up sleeping on the beach, but I stayed on the phone till the problems were FIXED. The volcano on the Big Island is in full eruption mode at the ORIGINAL Crater site for the first time in a 100 years, due to the earthquake and Tsunami in Japan, which moved the eath's crust back over the original vent. Don't ask me HOW, but it was way cool...er hot!

I am so sorry for your loss, but I am very happy that you used this vacation to get closer to your sisters.

You must have gone to the Big Island.
BTW there is nothing wrong with sleeping on the beach.
Well it used to be grand in the old days any way.
