The Dobsonian (Dobs) Telescope is very affordable and has great light collecting capability.
Its frustrating in that it isnt accurately aimed.

Years ago I saw a photo of a guy with two big reflectors, one for each eye (basically, binoculars), and he sat in a chair mounted right between ‘em. I think the whole works was on a Dobsonian base. :’)
