Hahah! Yes :)

I live at the top of Mount Milton, which is quite a change from the soup bowl of New Orleans.

There’s three hills that descend from my house, the last being very nicely steep.

The feeling I got from initially slowly walking up them, then to walking at a good pace, and finally running up them made it to where walking on flat land didn’t seem like exercise at all.

I swear, I’ll never forget these 3 simple hills. I’ve changed my life on them.

I was born in Stuart (Martin County) Florida, but live in Seattle now. We have HILLS, steep ones, and MOUNTAINS, steep ones. Last year I went to the 8900 ft level on Mt Rainier. What a fun hike that was. I have climbed several peaks around here now, some that were 4 miles up and 4 miles down (check out Mt Si on the internet, I did that one twice last year).

Exactly how high IS Mt Milton?
