Well neither do I but I can tell you that the number is VERY large.

Radios? Are you referring to the spectrum used by ATC, which would only be dedicated to their use and not intercepted by or used by other entities?

I will rely on information given by my husband, who has been in communications for over 30 years. A "keyed" microphone on a repeater system blocks other communications until the user releases.
