The people living in modern day France in the 5th century BC were not French. They were the ancestors of the Irish, Scots, and Welsh combined with the ancestors of what would become victims of Julius Ceasar’s wrath.

Try making some of that mead sparkle. Just be sure to use punted champagne style bottles. I make one that uses about 12 pounds of honey and a couple of pounds of pure maple syrup.

Add some charging sugar before you bottle it in the punted bottles. Make sure you cage the corks. Then let it sit about a month or so.

Bon Voyage!
I hope you have a great trip, and meet the girl if your dreams.
There are many organizations for young Catholics in France.

Remains of Gallo-Roman culture are found throughout France. There is even a Gallo-Roman theme park dedicated to the iconic Gallo-Roman comic book hero Asterix.

Gallo-Roman describes the Romanized culture of Gaul under the rule of the Roman Empire. This was characterized by the Gaulish adoption or adaptation of Roman mores and way of life in a uniquely Gaulish context.
The well-studied meld of cultures in Gaul give historians a model against which to compare and contrast parallel developments of Romanization in other, less-studied Roman provinces.

There are many remains of Gallo-Roman architecture and culture throughout France, preserved in a magnificent fashion.
French Towns With Gallo-Roman Remains:
• Arles - remains include the Alyscamps, a large Roman necropolis
• Autun
• Glanum, near Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
• Narbonne
• Nîmes - remains include the Maison Carrée Roman Temple
• Orange
•  gallo-roman museum
•  Vaison-la-Romaine
Roman amphitheatres are still visible in France.
•  The Gallo-Roman museum in the amphitheatre of Lugdunum (Lyon)
•  Arles
•  Lyon Grand

Exploring Roman ruins in France makes a great travel plan.
The Maison Carre in Nimes is a Roman temple in perfect condition.
The Colosseum in Arles is in much better condition than the one in Rome. It is still used for bullfights.
The Roman Bath complex in the middle of Paris is magnificently restored and the Musee Cluny is built around it.
