It's the Palin!
During the last election I thought Mitt would have the best chance to win in the General election. I was WRONG!
We had a Mitt light in Mccain and look what happened!
Every Lib says.. oh we're really scared of Romney or Pawlenty! That's JUST what they want us to think! They said the SAME thing about Mccain before the last election!
JEFFHEAD.COM recently passed its own little milestone of 2 million hits from almost 850,000 unique visitors.
bttt
That’s a fact.
I want to leave the voting booth feeling good about my choice. I intend to do just that.
For any Republican to win they have to swing many millions of voters to vote for them. The Dem operatives around Obama understand this.
I think every Freeper should go out and talk to their swing-voting friends and relatives who voted for Obama. I have been doing this for several months now, including via group-emails.
I don’t know any Republican / Conservatives who voted for Obama. I don’t think any Freepers voted for Obama. So winning all the McCain, getting the GOP faithful votes, but no Obama voters, means another 4 years of Obama.
Among all the GOP candidates the media hates Palin the most. The media has set out to demonize her, very unfairly. We know the truth, and perhaps they have so overplayed their hands that even some swing voters are thinking she’s getting screwed.
But my sense is that the die is cast and that she can’t attract a significant number of swing voters.
My friend, lets call him Buck, has voted for every winning President forever. That means he voted for Bush2 - TWICE, but it also means he voted for Obama.
He thinks Obama is doing a terrible job. But he also thinks Palin is a lightweight. I’ve tried to convince him that he’s been bamboozeled, but to no avail.
Maybe he’s a outlier, and their are lots of former Obama voters who could be convinced to vote for her, but I think not. So I do think that someone like Pawlenty, Romney, Huntsman or maybe Perry has a better change of beating Obama if nominated.
I think of the available true conservative candidates Bachmann is a better candidate than Palin, on several levels. One of these, that should not matter but does, is that they have been unable to distort and destroy her using the ‘politics of personal destruction’ that the MSM favors. Maybe they got a late start, but also she seems far smarter about dealing with the press than Palin.
I do admire Palin, and would certainly vote for her in the general election if she is the nominee. But I don’t think she will win a general against Obama.
Congratulation on the 2 million hits! Awesome and very well deserved.
Also, and more importantly, congratulations on your successful recovery and it’s GREAT to see you back posting on FR about politics!
Have any new books in the works? I gave several people “The Stand at Klamath Falls” for Christmas. It’s still my favorite of all your books.
When we get depressed over the OBozo situation, REMEMBER, these people are still out there and they are looking for the next Election.
Those pictures should be an inspiration to all of us. So far Sarah is the only one walking in Reagan's footsteps.
Writing about RINOs since 60 or 64? Really? Funny, in my research the term didn’t seem to show up back then. Yes, I realize Reagan and Helms had the great debates about third party verse a revitalized second party circa 1970 and following, but I don’t remember the term RINO in that research. If you were ahead of Reagan and Helms, I am impressed with you indeed.
Impressed you are still alive, too.
But then he won two landslides.
I honestly believe Palin is capable of the same and will support her accordingly.
She has to get through the primaries, and clearly, if Bachman or another won out in the primaries I would support them whole heartidly against Obama and his socio-marxist ideology and admin.
Thanks for the kind words. The good Lord blessed me greatly and allowed, for His purposes, me to keep on living here on this earth last year. I give Him and Hi Father, God in Heaven, all credit and will witness their name every chance I get.
That knowledge, and those principals are what counts, in this life, and beyobnd.
God's best to you and yours JB!

Logic goes against your theory Jack.
Were your view even a little close to reality, the MSM would not be wasting billions of dollars fighting Palin every minute of every day.
They fight her because their best internal polling tells them that Palin has a lock on the presidency, and they will spare nothing to turn that around.
They will of course fail.
Amen to that, HRAWH, amen.
Do you have even the slightest idea what you’re saying?
Are you completely ignorant of the makeup of FR?
Did history really begin in ‘92 for you?
Exactly, ES, and well said. I agree 100%
They fear her and are pulling out all the stops against her because they know what she represents and the shi-lacking she can hand them.
well said.....
Right on Jeff!
The liberals with their maggot infected gays, who control most of the print media and a lot of the tv media are terrified at the thought of Sarah as Palin.
The lesbians, the NOW/hags, those who use abortion as birth control, those running phoney non profits and anyone living off our tax $’s are terrified re Sarah becoming president.
Even in worse fear are the Rinos and phoney conservatives like the Beltway pundits and our neighbors in our towns/cities.
Weren't they also Governors?
Bingo EdSurveyor. Besides their poll, their focus groups outside of their brain dead idiot voters, probably show massive support of Sarah.

That's a big 10-4, buddy! Keep those pings a'comin', Jeff. I appreciate them.
