The only complaint I have most of the time is the personal attacks when people disagree. I think that has gotten worse. I don’t see the advantage to calling someone an idiot or some other negative remark. And then continue to go through the routine of, “You said so and so.” “Did not” “Did so” “Did not” “Did so”. Why do people do that? it never solves anything and it’s a waste of time and space. If you disagree, then disagree and shut up. There is no law that says you have to respond to a negative remark.
Okay, Off the soapbox.
I figured out a long time ago that a lot of what we write here stays in cyberspace forever. Just google your screen name, and it is scary when you see your own words from 5 years ago appear on the screen! You shake your head and wonder why in the world you ever said THAT?
So, ever after, I am very careful about what I write -- even to spelling and punctuation. Sometimes my keyboard gets away from me, but usually my posts are spelled and punctuated correctly. And I don't make personal attacks on other posters, or use crude language. That's a good rule for every day conduct in any situation.
Now, if you find any errors in my posts, I apologize. I'm typing on a laptop that is new to me, and it doesn't always cooperate. LOL!
