It’s sometimes fun to try old software on new computers. A few years back I tried to play a version of Joust from IIRC the early nineties. Unfortunately the developer set the speed of the sprites by the clock, not by real time. The vultures were so fast I died almost instantly.
I downloaded Wasteland awhile back and was amazed at the hours I could spend playing that RPG when I was a kid.
You might try turning the Turbo button off... ;-)
