Do a search on home remedies blood wool carpet cleaning. Although I seem to recall that Resolve Spray worked well on blood on our carpeting - but it is synthetic. Vinegar, peroxide, things like that.

The old gal may have an old container of Fels Naptha (sp?) laying around. Like my 93 year old mother “Don’t use too much - you can’t buy that stuff anymore!” I tried to explain because its a pretty bad cancer-causer, but at 93 who cares! (And it can’t be THAT bad as she’s been using it all her life.)

And condolences as you help your neighbor through a difficult time. I can’t imagine.

Like I said in my post - wool has specific requirements. I haven’t found but one product [from the UK] that fits the bill.

Don’t want to wait two weeks to get product ...
