I understand what your saying, but I think it’s more simple than that. I’ve played music in bands for 25 years and I’ve been in and out of every bar in this country at least twice.
The simple truth about such things, and you can take this to the bank, is that the guy that can stay awake the longest is who takes the girl home from the bar!
They can’t help it. It’s biologically built in for them to put men through stamina tests. Women in bars seem to think that God goes to bed around 3am and if they only wait that long they can get sneak one past him. :P

I can see that. I also am aware of that it also depends on whether or not a woman is in a phase of looking for a life partner or a quick lay.
A woman, for example, is thought to value humour because it represents a guys willingness to put thought into what he is saying, which represents his willingness to commit to her.
