Very impressive.
I lived on the Monterey Penninsula, in California, during mid 1980 - late 1981. My residence was high enough in altitude that it was possible to see the fog roll in yet still be above it. Yes, fog comes in and can mimic water in its movement.
This time lapse photography caught it perfectly.
Being on a Mountain above the cloudline is something everyone should experience.
