OMG! Lol, old men in denial. Known a few. It’s hard to give up that long lost image of yourself you used to see when you looked in the mirror.

You’re right and wrong. I’ll agree that an older gent may not can go 12 in the ring...but I grew with a ww2 vet soldier for a neighbor and befriended his son. Worked for his framing business for ohhh about 8 years. He employed several of us young Ga country boys.

That old man was the saw man for a 10 man crew and had no problem keeping up with us. He worked till the day he died.

His son tested him regularly...the son liked to test him quite regular...especially when the son would get drunk and pop wouldn’t give him his car keys. It never ended well for the son.
Employees would test him. Wouldn’t end well for them either.
