Private property is what the promised land of Israel was all about. Having been freed from Egypt, and having taken over the promised land, then God apportioned to each Hebrew family a piece of real estate to protect them slavery. Did Pharoah gave land to his peasants? Of course not. Freedom under the rule of Law goes all the way back to the Exodus.
