Yes. I know.

But it’s still available online.

Useless. But still there.

And I suggested running Malwarebytes in ‘safe mode’ because some trojans will not only hijack your browser, but can and will prevent you from running any Anti-Virus or other scan program.

I’ve had it happen twice.

I now run Microsoft Security Essentials.

Haven’t had a problem since.

They will try and stop Malwarebytes sometimes. What you do then is to rename the executable. There was a time whan renaming the thing would make it stumble on reboot, but it was a cinch to fix that, just make it remember its startup name. No, I didn’t do the programming :).
