I’ve kept my mind open to that possibility in the context of some investments a few years ago, but Trump recently said this:

People want to know why. Myself included. If this is all just some coincedence, then that’s how it’ll all shake out.
If the guy is bankrolling you it doesn’t do you any good to call the guy out unless you are looking to make an enemy forever.
