I’m not familiar with the AP copy, but I can guarantee, with almost 100% certainty, that if I print the AP copy, scan it to PDF on my copier at work, open that PDF in Illustrator, I will get the same results: postscript elements that can be moved or hidden.
Do you understand what they mean by Layers? That is how you assemble web pages/documents/etc... There are over 50 Layers.
