What is this supposed to be? What is with the curled page set on top of another page. That is clearly what was done. Yet all the green security paper pattern lines up? This doesn't even make sense.
How is it that the birth certificate curls into the page? And there is a stamp and signature at the bottom. What? What did Alvan T. Onaka actually sign?
This thing is such a crock it is disorienting in trying to describe it because it is so preposterous.
Also, right click and look at document properties. The pdf file was created at 12:09PM today. Not sure what that means.
The only thing I can come up with, assuming this is real, is that someone in Hawaii scanned the original, then photoshopped it onto a bigger piece of green security paper makin sure the pattern lined up, printed that creation, stamped it and had Onaka sign it, scanned that piece of paper and email the scanned image to the White House. That is the only way I can imagine the document provided could be created.
“What is this supposed to be? What is with the curled page set on top of another page. That is clearly what was done. Yet all the green security paper pattern lines up? This doesn’t even make sense. “
This one point is a non-starter.
Go get a book. Fill your copier with security paper. Now, open you book and make a copy of a page by pressing the open book against the glass. The copy will come out on security paper, but the photocopied portion will have a curve along the edge.
The copied from the birth cert book onto a piece of security paper. Simple answer.
Then they certified and signed the copy, because they aren’t going to RIP the page out of their book and send it to Obama. They’d make a copy.
So you are way off base with your analysis.
Pay closer attention to the folks talking about layers in the PDF document. That part has some merit so far, but not yet sure how much merit.
The pdf I downloaded from your WH link has a create time of 7:09:24 a.m. today, a PDF PRoducer: MAX OS X 10.6.7 Quartz PDF Context
When I zoomed into the image, I was surprized I couldn't see any green pattern touching any letters. They should touch if the letters were typed on such paper. There is a white halo around all the text.
I don’t know about any of this, but people ought to keep copies of what they’re analyzing. But y’all know that.
