When I was 7-8 years old, I lost a quart jar of US silver dollars. I was playing 'find the treasure' when I lost track of them and a sudden downpour washed away the sand in the ditch where I had buried them.
They may still be there somewhere but a housing subdivision and an asphalt road was built over the site years ago. So....
I have a friend who has a metal detector who wants to go looking.
Hey, silver is close to $50 an ounce these days.
